Privacy Policy of Karpaty Insight Group

Who manages your data?

The administrator of your data is Karpaty Insight Group based at ul. 3 Maja 12 in Rzeszów. The matter is clear: Mateusz Nowak is directly responsible for information protection here. We are not a large corporation, but a local office, so we watch these matters personally, without intermediaries. We collect only the information that is necessary for us to analyze your case or register a trademark. This is usually your name, surname, email address, and phone number. If you represent a company, we will also need the NIP number to issue an invoice or check the patent clearance of your brand in the UPRP databases.

We operate in accordance with GDPR regulations, but without unnecessary legal jargon. Your data is safe with us, and we do not allow any unauthorized person to look at it. Last year, 147 active clients trusted us, and we never had any issues with information leaks. Everything is kept on secured servers with SSL certificates. If you have any questions about how we take care of your privacy, you can write to biuro@karpatyinsight.pl. We will reply within 3.2 business hours because we know that in business time is money.

Why do we need your information?

Facts matter, not promises, which is why we must have specific data to reliably assess your chances of logo protection. Your name and email serve us to send a patent clearance report or a service quote. We do not send spam or offers you didn't ask for. We secure your profit, so we ensure your business plans don't leak to the competition. We store data from contact forms for the period of negotiations, and if cooperation occurs – for the entire duration of your mark's protection. We usually delete inactive contacts 14 months after the last conversation.

We also use data for statistical purposes. We see, for example, that business owners around Rzeszów often look for information on industrial designs. These data are anonymous, however. We do not know who specifically is sitting at the computer until you send us an inquiry yourself. Straight to the point: we do it so that technology helps us better match the offer to the needs of the local market in Podkarpacie. We don't play around with tracking your private life online; we are only interested in the secure development of your brand.

Cookies and technology

The karpatyinsight.pl website uses so-called cookies. These are small files that make the site load faster and correctly display graphics in coffee and graphite colors. Thanks to them, we also know which articles on our blog are most useful for you. We use simple analytical tools, but we do not collect any sensitive data through them. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time, though the site may then work a fraction of a second slower. Our team of 5 people constantly watches to ensure the site is light and doesn't strain your device.

Sometimes we also use auxiliary pixels to remind people who sought our help with logo registration about our services. We don't do this aggressively – we respect your space. We know Rzeszów offices from the inside and know that in law, as in technology, precision matters. That's why our technical solutions are simple and effective. We do not install any strange plugins on your computer. Everything is clear and transparent from the first minute of your visit to us.

Who else sees your data?

Your data is not for sale and will never go to companies trading marketing bases. We pass it only to those who help us realize your order. This includes the accounting office (for invoices), email hosting, and patent offices (UPRP in Warsaw or EUIPO in Spain). These offices must know who the owner of the filed mark is to issue the appropriate protection certificate. This is a standard procedure and without it no one could effectively register their brand.

All our partners we work with on ul. 3 Maja are verified and follow security rules. We use data encryption with every shipment of documents to the office. The matter is clear: your business secrets are safe with us. Last year we closed 47 property infringement cases without going to court and maintaining discretion was key there. We protect your privacy as rigorously as we protect the industrial designs of our clients from unfair competition.

Your rights and contact

You have the right at any time to ask what information we have about you. You can correct it, if for example you changed your company address, or demand its total removal. We will do it immediately unless the law requires us to keep accounting documentation for a specified time. If you want to exercise your rights, just send an email to biuro@karpatyinsight.pl. You don't need any special forms for this. Mateusz or Karolina will answer you directly, without fluff or unnecessary waiting.

By the way, we handle most matters related to data immediately during one phone conversation. If you believe your data is processed inappropriately, you have the right to file a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. However, we encourage you to contact us first – facts matter, and we always try to resolve problems amicably. We secure your profit and your peace of mind, so we want you to feel confident with us. Straight to the point: your privacy is our common cause.
