Hydro-Tech Rzeszów created a proprietary pressure valve for cooling systems. They needed hard protection so that competition wouldn't copy their idea before entering the German market.

The challenge

The company invested 24,300 PLN in prototypes and performance tests alone. The problem was that thousands of similar solutions exist on the market. The client feared the Patent Office would reject the application due to lack of novelty. Additionally, their previous technical documentation was imprecise, risking copyright disputes with a former subcontractor.

Our approach

We started by scanning patent databases over 16 business days. We found 2 similar designs from 2018, which required us to change the description strategy. We focused on the unique sealing mechanism that no one had filed before. Our team prepared 11 precise technical drawings that excluded room for interpretation by the examiner.

The solution

We prepared and sent the full application to the Patent Office of the RP. We handled all communication with officials, monitoring payment deadlines and responses. We constructed the patent claims to protect not only the current valve model but also its 2 likely modifications the client plans to introduce in 2026.

Results

The patent was granted without a single request for missing information. The client obtained exclusivity for production and sale of the valve, allowing them to sign a contract with a large distributor from Munich.

"To be honest, we were afraid of the bureaucracy. Karpaty Insight Group caught an error in the sensor description that would probably have blocked us for years. The matter is clear: they know their job and don't make empty promises."
